I'm Susie,

an Independent Wedding Celebrant with an ex corporate life...

I've chosen to immerse myself in the sheer joy of my career as a Celebrant. Because life is truly worth your career making you sparkle a little (or a lot) every day.

Being involved in and creating your incredible day with you, makes me do just that! I truly love weddings and always have. Cheesy or not, I love peoples love stories.

Scottish, and living in London, allows the dream mix for me, focussing on ceremonies in London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, I am open to other and all locations too. Just ask me!

What makes me different? Although always being professional with my clients, I believe that together we develop a working relationship where we could actually imagine having a coffee or a cocktail together. It's this energy and chemistry that is what makes your ceremony perfect. Because you will feel at ease, supported, and comfortable, ensuring that you are savouring every moment.

I have 2 Key Beliefs...

Firstly, life is at its most full, when we are each able to be shamelessly ourselves - in every moment. If you'd like to know more about this one and why I feel passionately about it, ask me when we chat!

Secondly, that People, our relationships, laughter, and love together - are the essence of life.

Why am I telling you this? Because an Independent Celebrant has no limitations. None! Together we create the most special moment for you, that precisely represents you and in the perfect way.

We can also do this, anywhere. In a more beautifully traditional setting - or let your imagination run wild!

My passion, is being in the privileged position where I can create a safe and personal space for you to tell your love story - alone or surrounded by your family and friends. I am not limited by a specific set of beliefs or rulesets. I am your key to true freedom in your ceremony and moment of union. Together we will turn your vision into a beautiful and authentic reality.

With 2 decades of public speaking experience and the added twist of TED - I do thrive on having an eye for detail, and a dedication to making every ceremony flawless. From writing personalised vows to creating a seamless ceremony flow.

I like to go the extra mile, am experienced in knowing how to support you in calming any nerves, and can even coach you in the delivery of your vows.
